Study of Frank Lloyd Wright's homes in LA by Rene

Frank Lloyd Wright

So first stop on my trip was the freeman house this house looks a lot smaller from the front looks smaller than my house but the main focus of this house is the textile block used to make this house
as you go down into the mountain It is a two-story house It has a pool on the first story witch is twelve feet into the mountain

the drawing on the left in the photo below is the first floor and the drawing on the right is the second floor. The sec and floor has the main entrance and the car garage

visual expierence to see this house It looks like a movie set it is very obious that the aztects were a great inspiration in the desing of this house so I hope you get to see this house in your lifetime.

The second house is the Ennis house the sheer mass and size of this is fortress seems like a more appropriate name a for something of this caliber

the third house on the list is the hollyhock is not a residecial house it seems more like a park I didn’t really undertand what the park was for it had a theater an arts studio a museum and older building under reapiar I mean it was beautiful  all the way around but I just didn’t understand what frank was trying to desing here well I mean he was trying to make a house but there is soooo much more there is no picture that shows the entire park

the last I don’t have much information because it is private residence of one very lucky person
